For decades, Kazakhstan and the UAE have established reliable, mutually respectful and strategically fluid cooperation. Our countries, our people, have strong relations that translate into real opportunities in trade, investment and innovation.

A few days ago, on a trip to Abu Dhabi, I had the honor and privilege to meet with a man I respect and admire: Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan.

We’ve known each other for years, and our talks are full of discussions about the future. About prosperity and peace. On how to mobilize the experience and vision of our cultures in ventures that bring prosperity to our people.

Sheikh Surour is a man of discipline who possesses both dignity and foresight. He is an amazing businessman and a genuinely great person. A man who has done a lot to advance his country.

I am always happy to meet my friends and mentors in the Gulf. I firmly believe that the strategic cooperation as between our peoples will always be positive. Always be good for the people of Central Asia and the Middle East.
