My Interview in The Astana Times: Sustainable Leadership in Action

Those of you who have worked with me know that I firmly believe that Kazakh entrepreneurs active in 2025 (and we are already well into the second quarter of the 21st century!) must work not only to generate profits for shareholders but also to improve the world around us.

We have the capacity to be a force for good; we certainly have influence, and we are also capable of leading many others in an effort to do business right.

I stand by the "People, Planet and Profits" motto. You know I do.

This past weekend, an interview kindly conducted by Anel Bersimbayeva for The Astana Times, Kazakhstan's leading English-language media outlet, described it this way:

"The business strategy is anchored in three core pillars: contributing to the economy, maintaining environmental standards, and investing in human capital. That's the philosophy of Kazakh businessman Kenges Rakishev, who views business not merely as a means of generating profit but as a boost for sustainable transformation."

Here is the article, because I'm sure you'll want to take a look: https://lnkd.in/ejXcmFMz

The principles of sustainable growth and environmental progress, the education of future generations, and betting on projects that solidify Kazakhstan as a strong and inclusive market must be priorities for all of us.

Happy Monday and happy week!
