Continuing the Family Legacy in Energy

My son proudly follows the family tradition in the energy sector.

Recently, my dear son, Dinmukhamed, successfully completed an introductory course on oil trading with Mennta Energy Solutions, backed by none other than Vitol, the global energy and commodities company.

Since completing his studies in the United States, he has taken steps on his journey towards becoming a professional in the energy industry. I am totally sure that, one day, he will be a respected name in the field in his own very right.

Mennta Energy Solutions has been a trusted organization in energy business training since 1982. Over the decades, it has earned recognition from respected institutions such as the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), and The CPD Certification Service (CPD).

Dinmukhamed has always expressed a strong interest in natural resources, energy, and trading. His dream is to learn the most innovative knowledge, skills, and methods from global industry leaders and then implement them in Kazakhstan, contributing to the development of our national commodities sector.

My son’s love for the motherland truly inspires and drives him forward. I guess it runs in the family.

At the end of the Oil Trading Orientation course, Dinmukhamed had the very special and unique opportunity to meet in person Mr Russell Hardy, CEO of Vitol.

Mr Hardy, who has been described as the Cristiano Ronaldo of the oil markets, is a legend in the field and has the ability to shape the discourse on markets, energy transition, or supply chains.

And Vitol, the company he leads, is one of the most important global energy and commodity trading conglomerates, physically trading, transporting, and storing, for example, crude oil.

He started his career at Vitol 32 years ago. During these years, Russell Hardy faced numerous regulatory reforms, supply shocks, and shifts in demand. He successfully navigated these challenges and adapted to new realities. In 2018, he was appointed as Group CEO of Vitol.

I hope that Russell Hardy’s example of hard work and perseverance will serve as a powerful inspiration for Dinmukhamed throughout his own career.

I am immensely proud to see how Dinmukhamed is following our family tradition and stepping confidently into the energy sector. It is my strong belief that his genuine interest in the industry and commitment to continuous studying will one day make him an invaluable asset for Kazakhstan’s commodities market.

Тек алға, балам! Жаңа бастамаларыңа сәттілік тілеймін! (Only forward! Good luck in your new beginnings!)
