Digital Bridge 2025

Last week, the president of Kazakhstan, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, awarded the winners of the AI SANA Generative Nation competition during the Digital Bridge 2025 forum, the Largest International Technology Forum in Central Eurasia, that took place in Astana.

Among them was Bekbulat Zhangeray Askaruly, a student from NIS Taraz, who explained his very impressive project: the Beelieve system, an intelligent monitoring platform that allows to help preserve bee populations and at the same time, improve environmental sustainability levels.

The very talented Zhangerey Bekbulat received a 1,000,000 tenge award from the President for his ideas and achievements. Two years ago, he had already been acknowledged with another prize for developing a carbon monoxide and methane sensor.

We are especially proud of Bekbulat because his journey started much earlier, and it started next to us. While just a young entrepreneur, he was one of the students supported by the SHOQAN SCHOOL, the institution founded by Aselle Tasmagambetova and me, and already one of the most relevant in Almaty and Kazakhstan.

It matters seeing young people from across and the country turn their curiosity into actionable ideas and solutions for a better future. Congratulations to him, his mentors, and his family.

We are proud to have played a small part in his journey.
